Photography Challenge: Day 15 – Silhouette

This challenge really held me up. I tried on multiple occasions to find a spot where the sun would shine through bright enough and I could capture a great silhouette, but time and again I was thwarted – either by the buildings in the area hogging all the direct sunlight, or by forgetting my tripod and/or being alone and unable to get anything interesting.
I love a good skyline silhouette – and don’t think you’re not going to see a few of those popping up on the gramsB – but I didn’t want to do something easy for this challenge.
Anyways, yesterday I got up early to chase the sunrise and though my sunrise pictures are not awe-inspiring, I did look backwards as I was walking home and realized my moment had arrived! I tossed my camera on to the grass, set interval shooting, and proceeded to embarrass myself in front of the morning rush hour traffic for a full ten minutes.
