This challenge took two attempts – the first night I came home with a bunch of black photos and nothing to show for a half hour in the dark and (relative) cold!
So I came back, researched a bit more on what elements are key to taking night photos, and went back out a second time armed with more info – and a better perspective.
I realized there was a lot of potential for cool things just out my door, really. And potential to play with shutter speeds, ISO, and more if I took the time.
I really like the way the train photo turned out and I can’t wait to play with this technique in Cuba!
Which one do you think is best? Any tips for improving night shots?
